Jacks Rainbow helps create new Memories for bereaved
families who have lost a chid by sending families on Breaks away to create some
laughter and smiles again. It also offers a friendly ear
to bereaved families who have lost a child via email or Skype calls. To become a
registered charity I need £5000, why not do some fundraising and donate below,
every penny helps towards helping bereaved families.

Change Bereavement Leave
When a child dies, particularly if that death is sudden and unexpected, there
should be provision for the parents to take paid time off work. While many good
employers offer compassionate leave, there is no statutory right to leave and
this campaign aims to introduce four weeks of paid “bereavement leave” for
parents. The change could be made in the forthcoming Children and Families Bill
anticipated this Parliamentary session.

The beauty of a memory,
is that its always there.
Like a penny in your pocket
you can take it anywhere.
And when your heart is heavy,
and your eyes are filled with tears,
you can focus on a memory,
and travel through the years.
Your heart can visit happy times,
when laughter filled the air,
and the presence of your loved one,
will lessen your despair.
So as you travel on in life,
take comfort as you go,
in a lifetime of "sweet memories,"
of one who loved you so
